1. Nature of Service:
Consistency Buddy is a peer-to-peer accountability service. The "Buddy" acts as a personal progress partner to assist with habit consistency.
Non-Professional Status:
You acknowledge that Consistency Buddy is not a licensed therapist, medical professional, certified fitness trainer, or legal advisor.
No Guarantees:
While we strive to help you succeed, Consistency Buddy provides a motivational service goal. We do not legally guarantee specific life results or the achievement of goals.
2. Communication Protocol
Check-in Attempts:
If a scheduled call is not answered, the Buddy will make two back-to-back attempts within a 10-minute window. If both are missed, a voice note will be sent, and the check-in will be marked as "Completed" for that day.
Call Duration:
Calls are limited to the time specified in your plan (1 or 2 minutes). A one-minute grace period is provided; beyond this, the Buddy reserves the right to politely end the call to remain available for other clients.
Availability:
Services are rendered based on the schedule selected by the User, including weekends and holidays, unless otherwise agreed upon in writing.
3. Health, Safety, and Advice
Scope of Support:
Consistency Buddy will not provide workout plans, meal plans, medical prescriptions, or legal advice. We only track and support the habits defined by the User.
Crisis Protocol:
We are not an emergency service. If a User discloses a mental health crisis or intent to harm, the Buddy will immediately terminate the call and provide the User with professional emergency resources.
4. Payments, Refunds, and Cancellations:
No Refunds: Due to the personalized nature of the service and the reservation of the Buddy’s time, no refunds will be issued once a monthly billing cycle has commenced.
Grace Period:
If a payment fails, a 48-hour grace period will be granted to update billing before services are suspended.
Cancellation:
Users may cancel at any time to stop future billing.
5. User Conduct and Termination:
We maintain a zero-tolerance policy for:
Harassment, abuse, or inappropriate/obscene language.
Sharing of nudity or sexually explicit content.
"Client Swapping": Subscriptions are for one individual only. Forwarding calls to third parties or allowing multiple people to use one account is strictly prohibited.
Right to Terminate:
Consistency Buddy reserves the right to terminate service immediately without a refund if these conduct rules are violated.
6. Data, Privacy, and Content
Data Deletion:
Upon cancellation, all stored progress data and snapshots will be sent to the User (if requested) and subsequently deleted from our systems.
Testimonials:
We will never use your name, likeness, or "wins" for marketing purposes without your explicit, written permission.
Priority Boosts (Diamond Only):
Limited to 3 boosts per week. Response times are targeted within 2 hours during business hours and 5 hours during off-business hours.
7. Governing Law:
These Terms are governed by the laws of Jamaica. Any disputes will be handled within this jurisdiction.
